Chap. LXVII. — An Act for the Relief of Thomas T. Gammage.
$994 to be paid Thomas T. Gammage for articles taken for subsistence of volunteers
in the service of the U.S.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Thomas
T. Gammage, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum
of nine hundred and ninety-four dollars, it being in full compensation for articles
taken for the subsistence of volunteers in the United States service, under the command
of General William Erwin, in the war against the Creek Indians, in the year eighteen
hundred and thirty-six.
