BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to place the name of Martha Dameron, widow of Christopher Tompkins, upon the roll of pensions, under the act of July seventh, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and that he pay her during her natural life the same rate of pension, to which her husband if living, would have been entitled to receive, for three years service as a lieutenant in the navy, under the act of June seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-two; said pension to commence on the fourth September, eighteen hundred and forty-seven.
