BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled.
That the name of Sylvanus Blodget, a private in a company of volunteer militia, which served in the defence of Plattsburg, in September, eighteen hundred and fourteen, be placed on the roll of invalid pensioners of the United States, at the rate of eight dollars per month, commencing on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and to continue during his natural life.
