That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to place the name of Peter
Myers on the roll of invalid pensions, and that he pay him, semi-annually, at the
rate of eight dollars per month, for and during his natural life, commencing on the
first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and forty-eight.
