To authorise the payment of Invalid pensions in certain cases.
Be it enacted by the Senate & House of House of Representatives, of the United States ^of America^ in Congress assembled: That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby is directed, in case any pensioner be now living who was on the revolutionary invalid pension roll on the third day of March, in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and twenty six, and who has been required to relinquish his invalid pension in order to obtain the benefit of “an act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers of the revolution, approved May fifteenth, eighteen hundred and twenty eight,” to allow and pay to any such pensioner his invalid pension, at the rate to which be was entitled on the Third day of March A.D. eighteen hundred and twenty six, and which would now be now justly due to said pensioner if no such relinquishment had been made.
2d. And be it further enacted, That in case my pensioner who was on the revolutionary invalid pension roll on said Third day of March A.D. eighteen hundred

and twenty six, has died since That time, the amount of his invalid pension, which would have been due at the time of his death, according to the provisions of the first section of this act, shall be paid to his widow, if there be a widow, and if there be no widow living, then to his children.
