BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of John Gawney, late non-commissioned officer in the army of the United States, upon the pension list, at the rate of eight dollars a month, to commence from the first of January, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and to continue during his life.
