Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there be, and hereby is, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropri- ated, the sum of two thousand dollars, to be expended un- the direction of the Secretary of War in surveying and opening a road from the Falls of St. Croix to La Pointe on Lake Superior. |
