BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause to be placed on the list of revolutionary pensioners the name of Rebecca Freeman, widow of Pearson Freeman; that he cause to be paid to her a pension during her natural life at the rate of eight dollars per month, commencing on the fourth day of March, eighteen hundred and forty-eight; said pension to be paid out of funds properly to that purpose, and at such times as other pensioners of a similar class are paid.
