Congress Assembled.
That William Kingsbury, of the State of Ohio, be, and he hereby is, authorized at
any time within one year from the passage of this act, to enter at the proper land
office in any of the states or territories, one quarter section of land subject to
private entry, and which has not before been entered or taken up, to satisfy land
warrant number three thousand and twenty-six, certificate of the issuing of which
was given by the Commissioner of Pensions, of date September six, eighteen hundred
and forty-two; after location and entry, the Commissioner of the General Land Office
shall issue a patent for the land thus entered, on surrendering of said certificate:
Provided, however, That the said commissioner shall be satisfied that no patent has
previously been issued on said warrant; on producing a written authority to do so
from the said Kingsbury, duly acknowledged, the said patent may issue directly to
Jeremiah Baldwin, in trust for the heirs of the estate of Harper Brosins, late of
the said State, deceased.
