Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to John Poe, of Louisville, Kentucky, the sum of three hundred and eighty- two dollars and ninety-one cents, in full compensation for his services in purchasing horses and mules for the army of the United States, in eighteen hundred and forty-six. |
