For the relief of Joseph Decret.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the benefits of the provisions of the ninth
section of the act entitled “An act to raise, for a limited
time, an additional military force, and for other purposes,”
approved the eleventh day of February, eighteen hundred
and forty-seven, in relation to bounty land and scrip, be
extended to Joseph Decret; he being the only relative in
the United States of “John Thoro,” who fell in the battle
of Buena Vista.
^Said Joseph being hereby [unpaid?] for all the benefits of the act [aforesaid?] the only [heir at law?] of said John Thoro.^
