A Bill giving to the Clerks of Paymasters in the Army miliage for travel performed
in the discharge of their official duties during the late war with Mexico.
Sec 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Congress assembled,
That the Paymaster General be and he is hereby authorized to allow to Paymasters Clerks,
who have received only the ordinary allowances, the sum of ten cents for every mile
of travel performed in the discharge of their official duties during the late was
with Mexico, And that he allow to additional Paymasters Clerks the same rate of milage
during the same time
