A Bill to cede to the State of Ohio, all the Public Lands, remaining unsold, in the Chillicothe Land1 District, in that State; for certain purposes therein named.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States in Congress assembled,
That all the Public Lands, which lie within the Chillicothe Land District in the State of Ohio, now remaining unsold, be, and the same are hereby ceded to that State; for the improvement of the navigation of such of the tributaries of the Ohio River, within that District, as may be navigable; and for such other purposes of internal improvement in the construction of Rail Roads and Turnpike Roads, ^in that District,^ as the General Assembly of the State of Ohio may deem best.
