To extend the provisions of an act of the third March, eighteen
hundred and forty-five, entitled “And act to confirm the survey
and location of claims for lands in the State of Mississippi,
east of Pearl river and south of the thirty-first degree of
north latitude” to the district west of Pearl river.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the provisions of the third, fourth, and fifth sections of the act of third March, eighteen hundred and forty-five, entitled “An act to confirm the survey and location of claims for lands in the State of Mississippi, east of the Pearl river and south of thirty-first degree of |

north latitude,” shall be, and they are hereby, extended to the same class of cases in the district west of Pearl river, Louisiana, and the certificates thereby contemplated shall be issued by the surveyor general of Louisiana. |
