For the relief of Sutherland Mayfield.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War cause to be paid to Sutherland Mayfield a pension, at the rate of sixteen dollars per month, in lieu of the pension now allowed him to commence on the fourth day of September, eighteen, hundred and forty-eight, and to continue during his life. |
