For the relief of John Gordon.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the name of John Gordon, a soldier in
the company commanded by Captain John R. Reed, in
the second regiment of the third brigade and fourth di-
vision of Ohio militia, in the service of the United States
during the late war with Great Britain, be placed on the
roll of invalid pensions, at the rate of eight dollars per
month, commencing the first day of January, in the year
eighteen hundred and forty-nine, to continue during his
natural life.
