For the relief of Cornelius Hughes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Cornelius Hughes, a soldier in Captain Powell’s company of Tennessee vol- unteers, in eighteen hundred and fourteen, on the roll of invalid pensioners, and to pay him a pension, at the rate of six dollars per month, to commence on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty eight, and continue during his natural life. |
