For the relief of Samuel Butler.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Samuel Butler, of Captain Andrew Stevenson’s company of artillery, during the late war with Great Britain, on the roll of invalid pen- sioners, and pay him a pension of six dollars a month, to commence on the first day on January, eighteen hun- dred and forty-eight, and continue during his natural life. |
