An act to provide for the sale of certain lands in the State of Ohio.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled. That all that portion of the tract of land in the State of
Ohio, to which the Indian title was extinguished by a treaty with the Wyandot tribe
of Indians, concluded at upper Sandusky, March 17th 1842, as is connected with improvements by any existing law of Congress, be offered
at public sale at Defiance under the superintendance of the Register ^and receiver^ of the land office and the receiver of public moneys for the District, at such time
as shall be designated by the proclamation of the President of the United States,
Provided that such lands shall not be sold for less than two dollars and fifty cents
per acre.
sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That so much of the act approved March 3. 1845,
entitled “An act providing for the sale of certain lands in the states of Ohio and
Michigan ceeded by the Wyandot tribe of Indians and “for other purposes” as pro-

hibits the disposition, at public sale, of any tract of land, being portions of the
tract aforesaid, “in which improvements exist, for less than the real value of the
same, according to the estimates of the superintendants,” be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Sec. 3. And Be it further Enacted, That the in lots and outs lots in the town of Croghansville in the State of Ohio, belonging to the United States,
be offered at public sale at Defiance under ^the superintendance of^ the Register of the land office and the Receiver of public lands moneys for the District, at such time as shall be designated by the Proclamation
of the President of The United States, and that all acts and parts of acts fixing
a minimum price for said lots be and the same are hereby repealed.
