A BILL
For the relief of Captain Cassius M. Clay.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, directed to pay to Captain Cassius M. Clay,
out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropri-
ated, the sum of five hundred and thirty-three dollars and
twenty cents, it being the amount of a judgment obtained
in a court in Kentucky against, and paid by, said Clay, for
an act performed by him in obedience to the lawful com-
mand of his superior officer.
