For the relief of Captain Cassius M. Clay.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Captain Cassius M. Clay, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropri- ated, the sum of five hundred and thirty-three dollars and twenty cents, it being the amount of a judgment obtained in a court in Kentucky against, and paid by, said Clay, for an act performed by him in obedience to the lawful com- mand of his superior officer. |
