BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthere be allowed and paid to Richard S. Coxe, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five hundred dollars, in full satisfaction of all demands which he may have against the United States, as attorney for the Post Office Department in a suit instituted by William Searight, agent of the State of Pennsylvania, against certain mail contractors, and decided by the Supreme Court of the United States at its December term, eighteen hundred and forty-four.
