1 BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 THATthe accounting officers of the Treasury
4 be, and are hereby authorized to settle the
5 account of Joseph Nourse, in con=
6 formity with the award and decree
7 of the district court of the United
8 States for the district of Columbia, as
9 affirmed by the Supreme Court of the
10 United States, and that any balance
11 which may be found due him on said
12 decree, ^[^with interest thereon at the rate
13 of six per cent per annum from the
14 date of said affirmance,^]^ be paid to
his legal representatives out of any
money in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated.
