BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Peter Engels, senior, on the pension roll, and to allow and pay him a pension, for a total disability, during his natural life, to commence on the fifteenth day of December, eighteen hundred and forty-five.
