BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay,
out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Elizabeth Jones and
the other children of John Carr, (if any,) who was a late revolutionary pensioner
of the United States, the amount of pension ascertained to have been due to the said
John Carr at his death; the amount so to be paid to be computed at the rate of eight
dollars a month, from the eighteenth day of May, eighteen hundred and eighteen, to
the seventh day of June, eighteen hundred and thirty-one.
