BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthere be, and hereby is, granted unto Phæley and Sylvia Ann Wood, administratrixes with the will annexed of Jethro Wood, deceased, in trust for the children, heirs at law, and next of kin of Jethro Wood, exclusive of all assignees and licenses, for the term of seven years from the last day of August, one thousand eight hundred and forty seven, the full and exclusive right and privilege of making and vending to others to be used, his improvements in the construction of a plough, as the same has been heretofore granted by letters patent, and are now legally existing; which letters patent are hereby renewed and extended for the term aforesaid: Provided, That the said administratrixes shall not demand or receive more than fifty cents for each plough for a license to construct ploughs according to the said invention. Provided nevertheless, that the owner of any plough heretofore constructed on the principle of said invention, or his assigns, shall continue to have the same right to use and
