BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled,
THAT the accounting officers of the Treasury be, and are hereby, authorized to allow to
Benjamin J. Cahoone, in the settlement of his accounts as purser, the sum of two hundred
and thirty-seven dollars and sixty-seven cents, for the services of Mr Fleming, late Captain’s Clerk, on board the United States frigate Congress, who performed
the additional duties of purser’s clerk during apart of the late cruize of said frigate.
