BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to William H. Prentiss, or his legal representatives, the sum of one thousand five hundred and six dollars and ninety nine cents, due to him for additional services performed by him as an assistant messenger in the State Department, the same to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
