BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe sum of two thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be paid to James Crutchett in the following manner, and for the following purposes, that is to say, the sum of nine hundred and seventeen dollars and fifty cents, for money already expended by him in the purchase of materials, and for labor in the preparation of the same, and for his personal management in lighting the Capitol and Capitol grounds with Solar gas, and the residue of the said sum of two thousand dollars to be paid him for similar materials and services, to be furnished and rendered in future, in lighting the said Capitol and Capitol grounds.
