BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Circuit and District Courts of the United State for the District of Michigan shall continue to be held in the City of Detroit on the third Monday of June and the second Monday of October, in every year, any provision in any act of Congress heretofore passed to the contrary notwithstanding; and that all writs, pleas, suits, recognizances, indictments, and all other proceedings, civil and criminal, shall be heard, tried, and proceeded with by the said courts, in the same manner and at the same place as heretofore . . .
