BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled,
THAT there be allowed and paid to John Clark, a soldier of the forty-fifth regiment of
Infantry in the late war with Great Britain, a pension at the rate of four dollars
per month, to commence on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-six,
and to continue during his natural life; the said Clark having been severely injured
while in the line of his duty, in September, eighteen hundred and fourteen.
