BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of the Treasury pay to Charles Richmond, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of three hundred dollars, in full payment for his services as special marshal in aiding the marshal of the United States, for the district of Michigan, to preserve the neutral relations of the United States with the provinces of Upper and Lower Canada, in eighteen hundred and thirty-nine and eighteen hundred and forty.
