BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the sum of three hundred dollars to be paid to Charles M. Gibson, as remuneration for a wagon captured and destroyed in Middle Florida by the Seminole Indians, in February, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-nine; the same to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
