BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representa-
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Auditor of the Treasury for the
Post Office Department credit the account
of John Lorimer Graham, late postmaster
in the city of New York, with a sum
equal to the debit, for his disbursements
from the post office fund, in leasing
ground and buildings, and fitting the same
for the principal branch post office in
that city, under the direction of Charles
A. Wickliffe, late Postmaster General.
1 Sec. 2. And be it further enacted,
2 That the Postmaster General pay to the
said John Lorimer Graham, [with interest
from the tenth day of May, eighteen hun=
dred and forty-five,] the sum of two thou=
sand seven hundred and four dollars
and thirty one cents; the said Graham
having overpaid that amount at said
date.
