BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe sum of fifty thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended, or so much thereof as may be necessary, under the direction of the Secretary of War, in the repair and improvement of the dam at the head of Cumberland Island, in the Ohio river.
