Chap. CI. — An Act to extend an Act entitled "An Act providing for the Adjustment of all suspended
Preëmption Land Claims in the several States and Territories," approved third August,
eighteen hundred and forty-six.
Act for the adjustment of suspended preëmption land claims continued till 3d August,
1849.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled, That the power and jurisdiction given to the Commissioner of the General Land Office
by the act of the third of August, eighteen hundred and forty-six, entitled "An Act
providing for the adjustment of all suspended preëmption

land claims in the several States and Territories," shall continue and remain in force until the third day of August, one thousand eight
hundred and forty-nine.
