BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATno proceedings shall be taken or prosecuted by or on behalf of the United States for enforcing a judgment rendered at April Term Anno Domini eighteen hundred and thirty of the district Court of the United States, for the district of Albemarle in the district of North Carolina in behalf of the United States against Thomas Turner, William A Turner, and William S. Ellison for eleven hundred dollars to be dis-charged on payment of four hundred and eighty dollars and eighty cents with interest from November twentieth eighteen hundred and twenty nine and costs, or for enforcing another judgment rendered on the said court at the same term on behalf of the United States against the said Thomas and William A. Turner for thirteen hundred dollars to be discharged on payment of six hundred and forty four dollars and forty cents with interest from January second eighteen hundred and thirty and all costs or for enforcing two other judgments rendered in the said Court at October Term Anno Domini eighteen hundred and forty eight, upon writs of scire facias brought at the instance of the United States upon the first named judgment, the principal interest and costs due upon the

said first judgment having been paid into the office of the Clerk of the said Court on the fourteenth November Anno Domini eighteen hundred and thirty five by William Plummer Executor of Starkey Armistead, but all further proceedings thereon shall be perpetually stayed, and the district Attorney of the United States for the district of North Carolina shall cause satisfaction of the said judgments to be duly entered upon the record.
