BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay to Henry Williams, Benjamin A. G. Fuller, and George Williams, ownners of the schooner Ticonic, or their legal representatives, the sum of thirty-eight hundred dollars, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, as compensation for the loss of said schooner, while employed in the service of the United States, during the attack upon Vera Cruz, in March, eighteen hundred and forty seven.
