BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of War be authorized to pay P. Chouteau, junior and Company, the sum of nine thousand six hundred dollars, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated; and that the amount when paid, be charged to the fund, under the control of the government, created for the benefit of the Shawnee Indians, by the seventh article of the treaty of the eighth of August, eighteen hundred and thirty-one.–
