BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and required to audit and settle the accounts of Thomas C. Sheldon, late receiver of public moneys at Kalamazoo, Michigan, upon principles of equity and justice; and that whatever sum or sums of money, if any, be found due said Sheldon, shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.–
