That the Secretary of State, cause to be fur-
nished ^to each of the clerks &c^ ^(^to the clerk of the district court of the United
States for the Western district of Virginia, four copies
of Little and Brown’s edition of the laws of the United
States, for the use of the clerks offices of the court at
Clarksburg, Wheeling, Charleston and Wytheville.^)^

Resolved, That the ^Resolution^ Bill from the House of Representatives entitled ^Joint Resolution (29)^ An Act
authorizing the Secretary of State to furnish the clerk of the District Court of the United States for the Western District of Virginia four copies of Little and Brown’s edition of the laws of the United States.” do pass with the following:
Amendments:
Line 4. after the words “furnished” strike out to the end of the bill and insert in lieu thereof as follows: “to each of the Clerks of the several District and Circuit Courts of the United States a sufficient number of copies of Little and Brown’s edition of the statutes at large, with those heretofore received, to supply the clerks office at each place where said courts are required by law to be held, one copy for the use of said clerks office and of said courts.”
Title, amend it, to read as follows:
