Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Unted United States ^of America^ in Congress assembled, That the Commissioner of Public Buildings and grounds be and
he hereby is authorized and directed to lease to Mr. J. Casparis all that public square in the city of Washington, not occupied by the Engine House
now standing thereon; and which is bounded by New Jersey and Delaware Avenues and B & C streets south. Said Lease to be in its terms and conditions according to the memorial
of said Casparis to the present session of Congress
