Resolvedby the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Postmaster General be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to renew the engagements heretofore existing, for the transportation of the great southern and northern mail, by the Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Railroad and Steamboat Company, at a price not greater than that which was paid by the present Postmaster General for the transportation of said mail up to the month of July, eighteen hundred and forty-seven.
