Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
THATthe Secretary of War, be authorized to cause to be examined, audited and paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the claims of Susan Coody, Mary Woodward, Polly Wood, Polly Smith, Nancy Spaniard, Richard Field, Cherokees, Abraham, a free man of color, and Polly a Creek girl, residents of Cherokee nation, for property destroyed by certain disorderly soldiers of the United States forces stationed at Fort Gibson on the night of the 12th March, 1845.–
