Sec[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the State of
Illinois represented in the general Assembly. That
all the provisions of the act entitled “an act to
Incorporate Such Towns as may wish to be incorpora-
ted , approved February 12, 1831, be and the same
are hereby extended and granted to the Town of
pittsfield in the County of Pike.
Sec 2d That the Inhabitents of Said Towns of
pittsfield shall before they entitle themselves
to the benefits and priviledges of the above
entitled act, procede in all and every respect
therein pointed out, for other towns to persue
to incorporate themselves and when thus incorporated
they shall have and exercise all the rights
priviledges and powers therein granted
to other incorporated Towns.
