Sec.[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That in all cases, where by mistake or inadvertance any person or persons in the county of Randolph and Perry & shall have listed their lands lying in said county respectively, for taxation, within the five years after the purchase from the United States, and have paid the taxes thereon when the same were not taxable, and shall be permitted to receive from the county commissioners court of said counties an order for the amount of said taxes, which said order shall be received for the value thereof into the county treasury for the taxes that may hereafter be due and payable by the person or persons to whome the same may be granted.
