Sec[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General assembly,
That it shall be the duty of the County commissioners Court in the County of Sangamon when they issue writs of election for Justices of the Peace and Constables which Election is to take place on the first Monday in august next, they Shall in addition thereto order a poll to be opened to elect one Senator to fill the vacancy ocasioned by the resignation of George Forquer one of the Senators from the county aforesaid
