Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That the sum of ten ^eight^ thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated as a contingent fund to meet the contingent expenses for the years 1835 & 1836; the said fund shall be subject to the order of the Govorner in defraying such expenses as are unforeseen by the general Assembly or not otherwise provided for by Law a statement of which shall be laid before the next general Assembly of this state by the Auditor in his biennial report.
Sec 2. The sum of One thousand ^five hundred^ dollars is hereby appropriated to defray the expenses incident to the penitentiary for the years 1835 & 1836. Said fund shall be subject to the order of the inspectors of said penitentiary a detailed statement of which shall be laid before the next general Assembly of this state shewing the manner in which the same may have been expended.
Sec 3. That the sum of twelve thousand dollars is hereby appropriated to pay the interest on the Wiggins loan for the years 1835 & 1836
Sec 4 That the following sums be and the same are hereby appropriated in full for the salaries of the several Officers herein mentioned for the years 1835 & 1836.
For the Govorner two thousand dollarsThe Auditor of Public AccountsTwothousand ^four hundred^ dollars including Clerk hireThe State TreasurerTwothousand ^four hundred^ dollars including Clerk hire. To the Secretary of StateTwothousand dollars including Clerk hire ^as Secretary to the council of revision and copying of Laws.^The Judges of the Supreme Court Eight thousand dollars.

Said compensation when due the members and Officers

of the Senate shall be certified by the Secretary thereof (except his own which shall be certified by the Speaker and said Compensation when due the members and officers of the House of Representatives shall be certified by the principal Clerk except his Own which shall be certified by the Speaker Which said certificate when so made out shall be a sufficient voucher to the Auditor to draw his warrant on the Treasury for the amount to which each person be entitled as aforesaid to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated
Sec ^7^ 8. The 8th section of the act [to which this?] is making appropriations for the years 1833 & 1834 approved March 2, 1833 and all other parts of said act coming within the purview of this act are hereby repealed and no money shall be draw^n^ from the Treasury except what is herein appropriated
