Sec.[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly,
That the county commissioners of Edgar County, are hereby authorized, if in their judgment they may think it right and expedient, to alter and relocate so much of the Chicago road as lies between George Redman[’]s in said county and the Town of Paris so as to establish the same as now traveled so as to intersect the Terrehaute road at the mouth of Smith Shaw[’]s lane in the vicinity of Parris.
