AN ACT changing part of a State Road from the mouth of the Ohio in Alexander County, to Jonesborough in Union County.

Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the county commissioners’ court of the counties of Union and Alexander, at their March term, or as soon thereafter as may be, may appoint three discreet persons in each county, whose duty it shall be to examine so much of the State road as runs through their respective counties, and make such alteration therein as they shall deem most expedient, and make a report to their respective counties of their proceedings, and the said courts shall proceed to have the same opened and kept in repair agreeable to the report so made; and so much of said road as is on different ground from the road so reported, shall hereafter be declared vacated; and the road so reported shall be a public State road.
Compensation.
Sec. 2. The county commissioners of the above named counties shall issue their warrant in favor of their respective re-viewers, for the sum of one dollar per day to each person so appointed, for each day by them necessarily employed in said work.
