Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly
That Charles J. Weed his heirs and assigns be and they are hereby Authorised to build and continue a mill dam on the Skillet fork of the Little Wabash at the Mill Shoals, On the West half of the South West Quarter of Section Twenty in Town three South Of Range Eight East Or On the North East Quarter Of the South East Quarter of Section Nineteen in Town three South of Range Eight East at or near the place where the late Mill dam stood Provided Such Dam shall be built within three years from the date: ^Provided, also, that said dam shall not be built more than eight feet high with an apron of twenty feet slope from the top of said dam, which may be built with stone or timber.^
